1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ApplyPilotIQ ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time — continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

ApplyPilotIQ is an AI-powered job search platform. It scrapes live job postings from third-party job boards, scores each posting against your uploaded resume using AI, and generates a tailored PDF resume for each matched role. The Service is intended to assist — not replace — your own judgment in evaluating and applying for jobs.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits and Payments

Credits

The Service operates on a credit system. One credit entitles you to one full job search run. Credits are deducted when a run begins. Credits do not expire.

Refunds

If a search run fails due to a technical error on our end, your credit is automatically refunded to your account. We do not offer cash refunds for purchased credits unless required by applicable law. Subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has begun.

Subscriptions

Pro Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Credits already added to your account are yours to keep.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Upload resumes or content that you do not own or have the right to use.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in an unauthorized manner.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service outside of approved integrations.
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications in resumes generated by the Service.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service or its infrastructure.

6. AI-Generated Content

The tailored resumes and job match scores generated by ApplyPilotIQ are produced by AI models and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing any AI-generated resume before submitting it to an employer. ApplyPilotIQ is not liable for any hiring decisions, rejections, or consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

7. Third-Party Job Boards

Job listings displayed in the Service are scraped from third-party job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, and others). We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of these listings. Job availability, salary information, and company details are subject to change and may not be current. We are not responsible for the content of third-party job postings or any interactions you have with employers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, and design of the Service is owned by ApplyPilotIQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your resume content. By uploading your resume, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific job search results, interview invitations, or employment outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyPilotIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@applypilotiq.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your unused credits are forfeited and are not refundable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
